If no one is home to accept a package that requires a signature, how do you get the package?

Complete was of time. Never attempted (although some was there) they said they couldn't deliver. they are not user friendly and liars

Please note that we are to process 3 delivery attempts. If we failed to deliver on attempt 1, a second delivery attempt will be processed on the next business day. The package will be returned after the final attempt.

try to avoid the 800 number these people are complete idiots you are better off to go directly to the ups customer center they will help you more efficiently

You'll have to call the UPS 1-800 number and talk to customer service and get them to hold the package at the nearest UPS facility
