Absolutely! It's my girl's favorite place! You can't go on the ball fields but all around them is plenty of room to run. You'll see lots of people with dogs there.
Signs saying NO pets because nobody wants dog poop on the bottom of your or your kid's shoe(s) ...and to limit legal liability for dog biting someone (CYA)
People do take pets but the signs say no pets on playing fields
