At this point they are issuing the real id which is federally mandated. It requires all original or certified copies of documents. Those documents must be scanned into the federal data base. Aka the reason why you need your social security card and they won't take the dd214. Plus with this ID that everyone has to have THE GOVERNMENT made a list of acceptable documents, anything not on that can not be used and dd214 for social isn't on it. That is outside of Nevadas hands, we didn't make those rules. They tell us, we had to carry it out. But if you don't have your ssc, you can use a pay check stub, w2 or 1099.
