Is the fiber optic for television more clear than Spectrum TVs
I hope I can elaborate more on what has already been stated. Allo TV service hardware includes a DVR "head unit." This DVR must be hardwired to the router. The router is placed inside the home wherever the customer and install technicians agree is best to place. If service is for only 1 TV and it is within hardwiring distance of the DVR, the DVR would most likely be used to supply the TV it's service. If the single TV is not within hardwiring distance, a wireless set top box would be used. ALLO's set top boxes do NOT need any additional convertors or hardware for service. They have HDMI, RCA, and optical audio outputs. For the single TV service plan that is deemed too far to be hardwired to the DVR, the wireless set top box would be included at no additional cost.
The set top boxes for the tv's are wireless, they run off the signals from the router. The only cords involved are the power cord and HDMI cord to hook the tv up to the television itself. Quite the change from what we had before with the coax cables.
Hi Dale! Thanks for reaching out. Each TV in your home will have a set-top box associated with that TV. Each set-top box has a power cord and an HDMI cord to connect the box to your TV. So all you really need is a power outlet which makes the boxes very easy to move around, no messy wires or coax cables required. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
