According to the NC State Food Code, with the exception of service animals, pets are NOT allowed to enter any food establishment. Dogs and cats are allowed in outdoor dining areas provided they are restrained, do not pass through any indoor areas of the food establishment, and cannot come in contact with emploees preparing food or food service items. Someone should have called the police to file a formal complaint against the restaurant manager/owner. Bad behavior cannot be corrected by silence.
If you can go to the buffet and fix your own plate without going to the bathroom and thoroughly washing your hands just mean disrespect for other customers. Sanitizers don't kill all germs. When One customer and pet means more than 12 customers then let the two have it. I and the group will Never eat there again. The manager actually got a large electric fan and thought blowing it towards the pet would help was absolutely lame and disgusting. No respect from customer or manager.
I'm not sure sweetheart but we insure would love if you would voice your opinion to our stuff so we can insure that your coming and dining is adequate.
A lot of people now a days will claim an animal as service animals and unfortunately many businesses do not or can not ask for documentation which makes it hard to make a decision on whether its allowable or not.
