A 1 year old really won't notice where you take him/her. The place is geared towards kids that play video games and adults. The older people at your party would enjoy it but if your party is mostly 1 and 2 year olds then I'd skip it....

No I don't think a 1 year old would enjoy this. It's more suitable for an older crowd of at least 5-6 and up

It's a fun place for children old enough to enjoy arcade games so if there are other children in the party, then perhaps. However, the place has a grown-up atmosphere.
1 is a bit young, I mean you could have fun, my daughter is 2 will be 3 March 23rd and she loves it, but most of the games are bigger digital gamee, racing games, etc. And also they're alot of adults playing games and drinking as well as it does serve alcohol... In my opinion I wouldn't recommend a birthday party for a 1yo here... Maybe Surfs Up in Carolina Forrest or at The Children's Museum in Myrtle Beach.
