You have to have a document labelled "Nevada Evidence of Insurance" either in your car or on your phone to present to the DMV and to law enforcement at all times. A bill from the company is not acceptable.
You do need proof. Via actual copy or saved on your phone.
As far as I know you need to get your proof of insurance through your insurance company, usually your proof of insurance can be a bill from your insurance company I think
