It was 99 cents, go buy another one, keep the reciept, then take the broke one back with your reciept and exchange it for something else that cost 99 cents......problem solved

Ask to speak to a manager and tell him exactly what you just said

Go back maybe they'll exchange it

You need a reciept when you return anything.
