My experience is $60 and up for the animal from a reputable breeder or good pet shop. I also think a tank setup could cost $100+ new. We get all our tanks used and save a lot. Buy the biggest tank you can afford though. 36 inch wide is better because your dragon is going to grow. Also, buy from a shop where the staff know what they are talking about. Bad advice from a chain pet store will cost you more than paying a little more upfront at shop like NJ Exotic. Also baby dragons eat a lot of insects and that is an expense and task most folks don't consider. They eat more greens as they get older. Again a good pet shop like NJ Exotic are experts and will guide you. A chain store is hit or miss. I think from experience our reptiles are easier and often less expensive to care for than a cat or dog. Enjoy your new friend!
Its kind of expensive there if u go to petland it have low prices and the bearded dragon and stuff like one hundred dollars
