We have what is called a wide bore MRI but it is not open. Open MRI scanners are often lower Tesla which equals lower quality and the increased possibility of something being missed. We also now have specialty prism glasses and television to watch for every patient. This allows you to see outside the MRI scanner no matter where you are in the scanner and you can watch a movie or stream something online while getting your MRI.

You lay down on a small table . they set you up for which area getting the MRI they make you comfortable give you head phones ask you type of music to choose from. Tell you how long. Tell you machine will make some noise. Can turn music up .they push button you start moving in ward in to open tunnel you stay there about 20 minutes. Best thing is to close your eye. This of nice place you want to travel to. Think of your friends and and favorite . you will be okay. It goes fast!
