They would not confirm, but they likely purchased it from MGP in Lawrenceburg, IN. MGP is a top 8 producer of custom spirits (everything from vodka to bourbon), and used to be owner by Seagram's. It is a tough go to be producing and not able to sell anything for 4-6 years, so many upstart distillers go the same route. An alternative is to maximize time on the still and make unaged spirit such as vodka in order to create income.
Distilleries regularly use other companies' stills especially when they are young.
Buying from other distillery
My understanding is they brought in some distilled Spirits from other distilleries when we toured they mentioned bringing in some product from a distillery in Indiana and then they also mentioned that they were helping start up another Distillery
