I think its because the owner is trying to save money by not having enough people working. I quit going there because it takes a half an hour just to get waited on. And you can't blame the people working there for that. They are trying, but you can only do so much
Because the employee s do not care and the Manager is inept. If You want a proper Wendys go to Catawba county Fairgrove church road and the one on 70 in front of the mall In Hickory are boty training stores with great managers and ur wait time will be 3 min or less i gaurantee that ive never waited more than a couple Minutes and usually the bag is waiting for me when i pull up. The Lincolnton store is a different management region unfortunately.
Especially with it being fathers day, food places are more filled.

I have never had a problem with the service at this Wendy's. Sometimes I think the hold up is the people trying to order and don't know what they want.
