I would contact the state on this matter this should have not happen this place is the worst place to ever place your loved one or anyone in...there is so much that goes on in this place behind closed doors that they cover up and do not tell people they will paint a beautiful pic to you to get you in the door to get your money and when they get you in they laugh behind your back because they know they just reeled in another body with a check...look into this with state and get you an attorney as well this should have never happen to your mom!!!
That happens when people are dumped into a nursing home. I'd be sad and depressed too.
My mom died on Christmas Day, back in her assisted living center she was living. She was never the same after leaving Pruitt Health, they damaged her mentally as far as refusing meds, not eating, barely drinking something, she would gag and sound like she was going to throw up. The nurses at Carillon were wonderful, one let my mom call from her cell Christmas Eve, I knew then that she was dying, but didn't think it would be the next, and I live in Ca. All I can say is this, mom's assisted living center was awesome, but the skilled nursing facility, as far as I'm concerned, one of those skilled nurses killed my mother, so people, before putting a loved one in ANY facility, do your research.
