Can you clarify your question please? Putting a pet down is a hard thing for some people such as myself. If you have specific questions about your pet's health, you should contact your local veterinarian.
If you can't or won't care for your pet put it on Craigslist for free adoption or take it to a shelter. If your family was tired of you should they be able to "put you down" ?
