The first time we cruised out of Charleston, maybe 6 yrs ago, they were parking people inside a huge Warehouse building. We were then loaded onto buses and took over to the port. We cruised put of Charleston this past Sept and used Uber so I'm not sure what is being done now.

Divine Law is correct. Call the Port. Or just drive up and pay. And it also depends on which Cruise Company you choose. I went with Carnival. No indoor parking all outside. I can't say the same for Royal Caribbean. So I would call.

No... Go to the port website and pre-paid for parking. 20 dollars a day. They will put a color sticker on your car at entry. Take the worry out of your trip.
