Dont know,and i would not do that to a 10 year old cat.go to pet store and buy plastic caps to put over the claws if u must.
Declaw at any age is INHUMANE!
Don't if you can avoid it. Older loved ones don't cope well with lesser mobility. He will often make jumps that requires he grab on.......
