If big planes don't land here why not call it regional airport then international and the only places I see that flights go to is Atlanta,Washington dc,Chicago,and New york

They have seasonal service to Toronto on Air Canada, and a long while back they used to have flights to the Caribbean, but they decided to keep the name for economic purposes. Also, big planes do land there such as the MD-80, B737, A320/A319, and B717.

It's for tax purpose and merchandise that comes into the country. Check out ISP on Long Island. Only Southwest and Frontier flts but International airport for trade.
