You still have to go to the welfare building and for the paperwork to fill out and always ask questions. I don't care how smart that they think they are!! Their's something they don't tell you. Then they will send you paperwork in the mail letting you know if you qualify and ask for a number so you can keep track of what's going on. Stay on top of it. Always ask questions.
They have a form you fill out for SNAP (food stamps). Right now the office has limited openings, so a worker will greet you outside. If you tell them you're trying to sign up for SNAP, they'll give you the form to fill out and send in via mail. You can also apply online at https://dwss.nv.gov/SNAP/Food/ .
