My father is a 20 year veteran of the AF. His wife has some dementia now. Is the waiting list longer for spouses of veterans? What is the current wait?

Spouses aren't Eligible to be admitted into the veterans victory house, only veterans are admitted.

From my understanding if she, herself is not a veteran she will not be admitted.
