No they do not go in the C&D they go in the transfer station and if they are from your house in Lexington county it is free to dump
If you live in Lexington County and the ties are coming from Lexington County you should be able to take them to the C&D pile there at the landfill. Be sure you have no household garbage with it or you will have to dump in the building and that costs much more.
