You can purchase medical marijuana once the state sends ypu the approval email. It took roughly 16 days from the time of my dr visit, payment to the state for the state to send the email. Once you get that you can visit a dispensary. Just bring your drivers license with you.
Five months. Three months waiting period from the time you see the doctor another two months to get your card from the state of Florida. Enjoy!
