Take receipt into store with the item and go to a register. My wife has done this many times and the management/employees here are awesome, she has NEVER had a problem or question. On normal items it is a double guarantee (money back and replacement) but they excludes special or seasonal items, which would include items like toys, alcohol, short term specials of the week, etc.
Simple policy. Return the item and the receipt.
In all the years we have been customers...only returned one thing, zero questions or problem.
Your best bet would be to call the store to get a 100% for sure answer
If it was purchased within the last 30 days and you have a receipt, should not be a problem. If it was longer than 30 days ago, or you have no receipt, they might not take it back. Especially if it is an "Aldi Find" that is only in stock for a short period of time, those items may not be able to be restocked. Not certain.
They are god about all other returns but on toys I don't know.
