Today Aldi's sucked. I know it's a discount grocery store, but you would think they would try to take better care of the disabled. My wife, who can only stand and walk for short distances. Went to Aldi's today to get some groceries. It helps her feel independent and useful. When she got to the checkout, there were two lines. Both aisles had the green light on. When she had all the groceries put up on the line, she was informed that that line was closed. So she exhausted herself getting all the groceries back in her buggy. Fortunately I was coming home and was able to help her, but I really shouldn't have had to. Instead of temporarily clothing down his line when he finished scanning the other customers groceries, and then coming and scanning hers, he made her move them.

The heavy set woman with glasses and a shaved haircut was extremely rude today at the Aldi south Rockwall location. Not only at the greeting but at the end of the transaction when she started scanning the elderly impatient lady behind me who started pushing her basket into me while I was trying to pull me credit card out of the machine, without first giving me my receipt. The cashier snapped my head off when I politely ask for my receipt and in a hateful tone said " I was going to get it to you when I could" Strange....guess I could have stood there for an hour or so waiting. She had already scanned 4 items from the kind impatient folks behind me.

One of the best Aldi locations, some can be ehh 🥴 Always great selection, neat and clean. They tend to run out of plastic bags often which can be frustrating because who really wants to use paper bags? Lol I always try to snag some boxes of empty and almost empty boxes. Much easier to transport from store, to trunk to house.
