I have seen Kite surfing, but I don't know where they are parking to get access to the water.
Personally the best time to go down there is the off season. I can't imagine being able to do that when the beach and campground are full of people. It is super windy but the water has to be freezing now. I can't say that I have ever seen anyone doing that. But like I said, we go off season. Way to insane when it opens for the season
