My daughter passed away. She was 34 years old and didn't live with me. The funeral home needs her social security number. Will the social security office give it to me or call and give it to the funeral home?

Yes they will, if you're the biological parent, just show ID, and maybe a birth certificate.

I will try it both ways. Social Security Administration in Bessemer has been giving me some personal problems. I wouldn't recommend them for anything. However they are all we have in this area.😞
