what are folks to do who need to try on boots/shoes when those items are available "only online"? "Only online" is very discriminatory in various ways to many folks & needs to be changed to keep all items available in stores, to traditional shoppers

Honestly the only thing I know to tell you is to get the same brand and a similar boot at the store try it on and try your luck with the same size online the worst that will happen is that you have to send it back and get another size which they are more than happy to do for you

Sad....it seems more and more, the only shoppers getting attention are online shoppers. Traditional shoppers are getting shut out.

Part of running a business is knowing how much inventory your business can operate successfully with. It is also knowing how many different products, in how many colors and in how many sizes you need in order for the business to be successful. Too few items and people can’t find what they need and won’t come back. Too many and you have too much inventory sitting on shelves costing you money. Besides, if they kept everything they should ll online in the store, they would have to have a store four times as big as they currently have.
