You do not reservations but it would be smart to make it.

As a general rule in NYC: make a reservation. Better to have it and not need it, than to have needed one and not have it.....
Depends on the night best to make a reservation or call ahead
It's a good idea, but last night ( Thursday, December 15) we were able to get a table for two without a wait. A few minutes either side of when we arrived would have resulted in a wait. Dinner is about $75 each (all you care to eat), not including drinks or dessert. Very good food and service, but kind of pricey.

We made reservations because our party was large. I would suggest you call because it may depend on when you plan on going. Holiday season is probably busier than the normal time of year. You will enjoy the food it is definitely worth the visit.
