I do all the time. The only thing not allowed is steel in the bullet itself. Also no incendiary, tracer etc... rule of thumb is if it is steel or armor piercing in the bullet including M855 green tip or a fire hazard it is a no go.

Yes, you absolutely can! No steel tip, steel core, or penetrator rounds of amy kind. No pellet or tracer rounds. Steel case wolf, tula, and bear is OK. Aluminom case surplus is ok too, just cant be steel tip/jacketed

I am under the impression as long as its not steel you can shoot it. But the workers are funny and may not let you in with it.
