I have a 2 year old whirlpool double door fridge / freezer I've noticed the same thing bad seal on the freezer side mostly I think email the manufacturer Google has nothing that works , I've had to defrost mine tooo many times and I'm throwing it in the trash (aggravated)
There are many internet stores that sell parts for your refrigerator - selling refrigerator parts is not home depot's thing.
