Is there a NJ Transit train stop anywhere near the camp ground?

Not a train Bus. The CoachUSA charter bus from 42nd Street Port authority stops right in from Alpine Scout Camp. It about $33 or $35 roundtrip When you get to NYC Bus Port Authority Coach USA, tell the clerk you want to go to Alpine NJ Boy Scout Camp. They will give you a ticket, ask which gate, its usually Gate 220. When you give the driver the ticket he/she usually ask where are you getting off...tell the driver Boy Scout Camp...or let the driver know as you give the ticket. P.S. When you are let off, you are on the Route, the driver will let you cross the street, have a light handy...you will be right in front of the entrance...about 20 foot steps. When you leave the camp, the bus to NYC is on the same side as the camp. There will be no shelter or waiting area, just a bus stop pole. So make sure "you are prepared" for the weather.
