Alpine scout camp in my opinion as a boy scout, is a good experience for any beginner scout who wants their first taste at camping. I’ve camped there many times, and enjoyed the different activities the camp had, as well as the beautiful forest and woods the site had to offer. Additionally, Camp Alpine is a good place to host important ceremonies. For example the pictures I attached were from my time leading an Eagle Scout ceremony with my troop 86 of tenafly. Also, I saw some swimming pools and other impressive displays. Overall, I highly recommend this place for not only Scouts but for families friends and everyone else to have a good time at this lovely relaxation site.

You might have in a building where you might get Wi-Fi but that's not through the camp. Remember, must understand that there is activity for the kids through the day for the kids. We want them to have fun not in there video games. Trust me is a good experience for them
Not a train Bus. The CoachUSA charter bus from 42nd Street Port authority stops right in from Alpine Scout Camp. It about $33 or $35 roundtrip When you get to NYC Bus Port Authority Coach USA, tell the clerk you want to go to Alpine NJ Boy Scout Camp. They will give you a ticket, ask which gate, its usually Gate 220. When you give the driver the ticket he/she usually ask where are you getting off...tell the driver Boy Scout Camp...or let the driver know as you give the ticket. P.S. When you are let off, you are on the Route, the driver will let you cross the street, have a light handy...you will be right in front of the entrance...about 20 foot steps. When you leave the camp, the bus to NYC is on the same side as the camp. There will be no shelter or waiting area, just a bus stop pole. So make sure "you are prepared" for the weather.
24 hour showers open by the pool and other areas. They do have hot water but sometimes the have problems with the heater for the shower water. I don't think that's a deal breaker. Kids took shower without hot water so did I.Hope this helps. PS have a great time.we did
I'm not 100% certain but they do have a "gift shop" I'm sure you could go visit and ask questions, it's a nice but not long drive from NYC. They have trails and a park ranger.
There is full time staff on site. Depend what you are looking for, or who you need to reach. If needing to speak to a scout or unit at Cubworld, contact the cubworld office and they get them for you ..
