I am in New York with friends but our last night, Friday 3/1, I am on my own and want to find a cool bar to do some dancing. Would this be a good bar to meet some locals?

Agreed, I would say after 1030ish its more limited entry.

It's cool, but they get packed very quickly and start only admitting couples at a certain point.
