Yes. I'm under 65 and I am disabled. I am and have been entitled to the discount since I started at GSD over a year ago. We are entitled to a discount at all/any dispensary so long as you are disabled and can prove it (medicare card is enough). Tip: Your drivers license proves your age, your medicare card proves your disability, the two together will afford you every discount a Senior Citizen is entitled to anywhere that offers Senior discounts. Best of Luck!!!!
Yes they do give a discount the problem is when you purchase your meds you are taxed and half of your discount is now gone its outrageous get rid of the tax lower the cost for low income patients.
You definitely get a discount on registration for the card instead of 200 you'll pay 20 but as far as a marijuana itself I don't think so I could be wrong
They give us a discount. For that MMP card we get a discount from having medicare
I'm also under 65 & on SSD. When I applied, the NJMMP accepted a *Medicaid* card or a SNAP card as proof of govt assistance, BUT, for people on Disability, a Medicare* card is Not accepted as "proof of assistance." I even submitted my tax statement FROM Social Security Admin itself & it wasn't accepted! The NJMMP required my "Disability Award Letter" (which had to be dated within the last 90 days!) You can call Social Security Admin office & request an updated one. BTW, it's NOW called a "Benefits Verification Letter" which states your eligible for monthly benefits. It takes about 7-10 days to get the letter from SSA though so, keep that in mind when you schedule your dispensary appointment! There's a lot of changes happening with the program so, as time goes on hopefully the requirements will be more unified & continue to ease.
