What is the best time to book a tour to the top of the monument OR which months have fewer visitors (if any)? I know that people get tickets for the tour a long time before their actual trip but I was wondering is there is a off-season time.

The monument is closed because of thw earthquake that happened a few years ago. They plan on renovations but as of now it is indefinitely closed.

You have to buy the tickets at least one month before your trip. Right now the Washington Memorial is closed until June 2019.

The Washington Monument is closed for a long time so just wait patiently until further notice and hopefully it will open some time over the summer of 2018 . So again, just wait patiently okay .😀🇺🇸🇺🇸
