We're planning on adopting cats from here in a few months, and we're trying to plan ahead on our supplies; what kind of wet and dry food do they feed the cats at the shelter? I'd like to buy the same brand to not upset their stomachs.

They send them home with science diet. I dont k ow if they feed them that while they are there or not.

Congratulations on becoming a future adoptive parent to some very well deserved cats. Keep in mind that some cats require a certain diet and they are very good on keeping this type of regiment for them. Heritage will also give a small portion of food to you at the time of adoption so you can either change their food (through gradually introducing the new food) or keep them on the same food as they have been feeding them, it's your choice. They don't buy a particular brand as far as I know. They take donations, so it is never the same.
