There are several camp grounds in the area but no camping is permitted at ONWR
There is camping at Ocean Pond, which is not far from the swamp and less bugs.
The Okefenokee is a huge and has several entrances. The entrance in Fargo know as Stephen Foster State Park has a place for a camper. The Wildlife refuge in Folkston to my knowledge has a place in town now but not at the actual refuge. Beautiful place. Best wishes from Georgia
