Tickets are released every first Wednesday of the month @9am on it's website. I heard in September on the weekdays its no tickets required only on the weekends. It's a must see Museum ❤️
I got tickets for June and July in March and April on line. Tickets for October were released today. September is a special month where walk ups will be done during week. I have 6 passes for July 30th available by messaging me on facebook.
Frm what I was told you have to go online and reserve them.
I went on a weekend trip, so the tickets were purchaded in advanced.
We went on at 6:30 a.m. TOO LATE!! So, we went over there and were told to sit on a bench. Within a few minutes, someone came out with some paper tickets and we got in. If you can wait until September, they will be experimenting with walk up entrance on week days.
If you are in the DC area, you can hop on the site at 6:30 am to try to get same day tickets which have an assigned time that you can get into the museum later that day. If you aren't in the area the other option is to reserve future tickets. And they are really way in the future. I think the site says that currently tickets were available for October 2018.
Yes , that is true go online to reserve tickets.
You can get a day pass online but you'll need to login to the website by 6:30 AM when they open the portal. They go fast so you have to be online right before 6:30, they are free. Good luck! It was worth getting up early for the ticket!
I went online at 6:30 am and got same day tickets for 1:30 pm.
