Holiday Inn on C Street! They also have a pool on the rooftop. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is kind.

Try finding a hotel within metro distance, cheaper than getting hotel near the museum and its simple getting around via Metro Rail.
Do a Google search for hotels nearby. The two closest hotels are the Willard and the W.
There are, but they are very expensive.
