I understand that push wheelchairs are available but can we come thru with our own? I've read that we can park on the street. Do we need to feed a meter and how much time is allowed? Are there any parking garages close to the museum?

I don't know about the wheelchairs but I suggest your phone the museum to find out. as far as parking, there is parking on the street though it's not easy to find and you have to feed them parking authority every 2 hours. You have to pay by calling into parkmobile. There is a garage nearby underground and I know but I think it's the Ronald Reagan building about a block or two away and I imagine there are others. You can find parking by going to spothero and putting in the address at which point you can choose what you want to pay and how far are you willing to walk. It's well worth any effort that it takes to get to the museum.
