Dress in several thin layers that are easy to carry as you will be indoors for much of the exhibit yet will encounter freezing temperatures walking to and from parking spaces - which can be several blocks from the Museums at times. If you are not from a cold climate, then D.C. in the winter can feel like visiting the North Pole. Enjoy! ๐Ÿ’‚โ„๐ŸŒฒโ›„๐Ÿ˜„

It's pretty cold in DC around that time. Dress warm and wear comfy shoes for walking. The museum is huge and beautiful! We are taking our kids there again right before Christmas.
