Apple picking is available at our PYO farm in Glen Arm. It is about four miles from our home farm. PYO start in the summer with some apples and continues into the fall.

We went on October 1st And you could not pick apples but they have a market , you can buy apples.

Yes, in season. But be aware that the orchards are not adjacent to the store where you can buy baked goods and pumpkins and such. Its a few miles away out in a less densely populated area. Which seems obvious but i overheard many people at the store location complaining that they didnt realize the orchard requires a drive.
Apple picking now, variety of Apple depends on the time of year. May only be on weekends if my memory is correct.
