I tried this stand after trying all the produce from all the grocery stores in the area and their produce letting me down in expiration/freshness, as well as flavor. I was not disappointed with George’s Farm Market. The staff were very friendly, the produce looked way better than the grocery store’s, the peaches and pears I bought were amazing and so sweet, and the green beans are still fresh and crisp in my fridge after a week+. The woman told me they recently started carrying fresh cow’s cheese, so I’m excited to come back and do some more shopping! I’ve been trying to shop local when I can, and don’t see any reason not to support this business. It’s also conveniently down the street from my house :)

Wow! I bought a watermelon. Didn't expect much. Wow, literally the freshest, sweetest, most flavorful watermelon I've had in forever. I would like to see more variety in vegetables. 👍

You will not find the freshest fruit, and vegetables anywhere else but here at George's Farm Market. You'll find yourself visiting over, and over, and over again!

There is parking out back and legally you could end up sometime where you wouldn't know where you was at. But, you'll figure it out. Out back parking is the way to go.
I'm not sure if they accept these at the Harford Road location. It's closed for the winter season. You have to contact the farm directly.
Some farms are allowing them. You should check to be sure but they didn't accept them last year. However, the farmer's market on 32nd street and under the gay street bridge does. You'll get tokens that are usable all year long at 32nd street. The community farm on Whitelock also accepts them. But you should call George's to be 100% sure about their policy. They've wonderfully fresh produce.
I think I heard the owner say she gets them from the farms she uses for her veggies. If nobody has a more specific answer, ask again when they open. They should start doing flowers and a few early season veggies around the 2nd week of April.
