I just read a story on FB about a Police officer and his wife being treated very badly at this store.. If this is true, then Shame on the management

Same question I can't imagine why they would be that stupid

Benjamin Parker | Aug 4, 2020

The answer is NO. Walmart relies on its partners in law enforcement to stop shoplifters. There's an article about the incident here: https://www.grandlakenews.com/news/20200615/check-out-facts-misquoted-walmart-audio-causes-viral-post I would also like to point out that the announcement was pre-recorded and played in every store, not just Grove. If it really said as the woman who posted claimed, it wouldn't be an isolated incident.

I don't believe that story for a second. I may be wrong, but it just sounds too scripted and just phoney. If Wal Mart announces something like that in one store, I'm fairly certain it would announce it in every store. I'm in Wal Mart almost every day, haven't heard it! Most likely put there by your friendly Russian bot from Moscow

I just read this too and am curious as to whether or not it's true. Is so then when someone steals something the cops should just let it slide.

Haven't heard it in Missouri. That's bull. Rudeness is also not flattering. I'd boycott that store if I lived there. Not acceptable. Lucky I wasn't there.
