I think it had to be an odd day. I haven't had anything that wasn't good. I have had the wrong food brought. They were very quick to correct the mistake. Last week I ate at Old 56. Everyone's food was good. Not it's usual quality, but still good. Maybe you were there on an off day. If your in Ottawa again, try them again. Let them know what was wrong the last time you were there. They are usually happy to make sure you are happy.
