As a cub scout we visited Fort McHenry back in 1956, are all the building and gun mounts in there original locations ?

Yes, but it has matured tremendously since then. The visitors center is top notch

Most of the civil war era guns are in place. The revlutionary era guns and ramparts area is being restored. The revlutionary era guns are covered up for the winter when I was there and could not see them then.
