It depends on what you want to get out of it....you can do a whirlwind tour of 30-45 minutes hitting the high points or you spend 2-3 hours and see everything. As with any national park....you get out of it what you put into it. Hope this helps!

Plan for 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Bring water in the Summer, it's hot!

It would be a shame to miss the video and not to soak in the history of the Fort.

You can visit at your own pace. There is a video that is about 10-15 minutes long. The museum is self guided so you can spend as much or as little time there as you like. The grounds of the fort you walk through in about 20 minutes but if you want to stop and look at the old cannons and battlements you should plan a little longer. Depending on how long you stay in the museum I would say to plan for 1-2 hours based on my visit.

Expect to spend about 2 hours to see everything, dependent on your pace.

My son and I were there for 4 hours. We plan to visit again to see the rest. Of course, we're the types that read every plaque, display, etc. So like someone mentioned you get what you put into it.
