Parking is free. It's also free to enter The modern visitor center, which contains some artifacts and museum stuff, a gift shop, and modern handicap bathrooms. You can walk around the entire outside of the old fort for free. Unless you have a US National Park Pass of some sort, Entry to the interior of the old fort requires a ticket purchase in the modern visitor center.
