It really just depends in how much time you have. You could probably end up spending the whole day there and be actively doing things the entire time. There isnt a definite answer to this question. You should probably spend at least an hour and a half to two hours to get a really good and memorable experience.
Hi Roger, You can see the highlights of the museum in about 90 minutes, however a full tour would take 3-4 hours. Good thing our general admission is good for two days, and you can come and go into our walk-able town for shopping and dining while you are with us. More is at www.cbmm.org/visit. Thank you again. We hope you'll be with us soon.
Well, I am not sure what they have open outside the event but there was Frederick Douglass sister's house. Small and pretty much empty. There was another small building with a boat exhibit and tools around to read about. There were a variety of small boats as you walk down a few minutes to another small building. I believe it was a light house but I didnt go inside it was packed. Oh and there was an interactive shack on the water where you could try to capture live crabs, learn about them and use the tools to capture oysters. It is a fairly small place. Definitely could make it through it all and read and enjoy what's there in a hour half or less at a steady pace. Depends on how you tour. Hope that helps.
Depends if you have children and how much you love maps. With my six year old map obsessed grandson over an hour in the main section an another in the interactive boats and lighthouse.
