I stayed at the Belvedere, literally 1 block up the street, on the same side of the AMA 319 West 48th Street
We enjoyed hotel amertania 1 block away. It is just outside of times square and very quiet. There is also a great diner rigt around the corner and a cool james bond spy museum on the next block too. We recommend this location. 20 minute walk to grand central station too.
