If I took a test a few years ago, but didn't take the job when I was sent a letter for it can I get my name placed back on the list? I scored mid 90's on the test (Track worker), and they are still calling names from the list.

When you decline a job, they remove your name off the hiring list permanently. You will not get the Track Worker job. However, if you contact DCAS (as someone said), they can put your name back on the hiring list. You are allowed to have your name returned to the list up to 3 times only.

Visit DCAS and be ready to produce offer letter or email and a very good explanation for their consideration. Be ready to wait and wait. Make sure to get their response in writing and that you contact information is up to date in their system. Pray and it be given unto you!

You're fine if you declined the job in writing. They provide the paper for you to temporarily decline at orientation. You have until the list is depleted to get reinstated
